LOCATION
The development on Harpers Lane is situated on the Northern edge of the village, heading towards Pendle Hill with open farmland adjacent to the site and a mature copse of trees at the top of the lane. the local Primary Schools; Wheatley Lane Road, Fence and St Thomas , Barrowford are both reasons in themselves for moving a young family to the area. Wheatley Lane, the Post Office and Convenience Store are all within a few minutes walk. The houses all sit back from the road behind a shared pull-in with raised planted borders to frame the front elevations and delineate the plot boundaries. The use of stepped ridge heights and garage links allow the development to maximise the accommodation whilst maintaining the appearance of individual plots in a rhythm that blends with the streetscape.
